Welcome to Highland Arms
Highland Arms, located at 125 S. Main Street, Elkader, Iowa, is a firearms store that serves the local hunting and shooting community. It offers a wide range of firearms, ammunition, gun accessories, and gunsmithing services. The shop focuses on providing excellent customer service and creating a welcoming environment for customers, whether they are seasoned hunters or new to the firearms world. The business was founded by Garett Hamilton after a career shift from forestry. Highland Arms has quickly grown to become a key part of the Elkader community. Hamilton, a local resident, is committed to supporting the town, which includes sponsoring local school events, fundraisers, church groups, benefits, and engaging with the community through various initiatives.
Creation of HighLand arms
Highland Arms LLC was started by Garett Hamilton in 2020 out of a spare bedroom in his home. It quickly took over the main level of the house and eventually moved to its current location at 125 S Main Street in Elkader, IA. The business has grown to be a destination location for sportsmen and patriots in Northeast Iowa.
